  A: Yes, most definitely - we have over 26 years of experience helping clients with changes.
• Q: Do you perform inspections? We have had challenges maintaining proper records and documentation for our dust collection system - can you help us?
  A: Serbaco provides detailed reporting and documentation for each inspection we complete. We perform anything in the range from weekly to annual inspections for our customers, providing a maintenance attention list and safety advisories for your equipment. In cases of enforcement, we have clients that have brought environmental agency employees to our offices to review their records for several years - a valuable service!
• Q: Can Serbaco analyze and improve airflow balance?
  A: Yes, we routinely perform this service.
• Q: Does Serbaco have experience designing custom air pollution control systems?
  A: Absolutely - in fact that is what we specialize in unlike the standard equipment manufacturers. We will design, fabricate, and install the exact solution needed.
• Q: If we do our own maintenance and supply our own parts, will Serbaco be willing to provide the labor/crew to rebag our dust collectors?
  A: Yes, we are flexible so we can meet your needs. Although we are a full service company, we strive to be your partner.
• Q: Can you help us solve our problems with odors within our plant and outside?
  A: Yes, using scrubber technology Serbaco can design an application to help alleviate and neutralize most odor issues.
• Q: What size of dust collector do we need?
  A: There are many factors to consider - What type of dust are you trying to control – hygroscopic, flammable, hazardous, sticky, and what size are the particles. Next, we will need to determine what capacity is best/required, and how many sources ducted to the unit. How long will it operate each day? What efficiency is required? We can help you answer all of these questions and come up with an efficient and cost effective solution.
• Q: We are facing challenges with our local department of environmental quality in complying with their regulations or correcting problems or violations – can you help us?
  A: Yes, an important part of our expertise is in the area of evaluating existing systems, developing corrective actions and design modifications in a cost effective manner, and implementing these improvements. We work very closely with environmental enforcement agencies to act as a support and mediation resource for our customers. Through our efforts our customers have had large potential fines reduced or they have avoided them altogether with our help and support.
• Q: Where can I find parts for my existing dust collector system?
  A: Serbaco can supply you with replacement filters, valves, diaphragms, solenoids, gaskets, cartridges, filters, cages, magnehelic/photohelic gauges, tube sheets - if its no longer available, in most cases we can reverse engineer an improved retrofit part that will exceed the original specifications.
• Q: Can you provide us with filter bags for our dust collector?
  A: We can provide you with your standard filters or help you come up with an improved filter media for better cleaning, better performance and longer service life. We'll work with your lead time requirements to meet or exceed your expectations - that's what we do best!
• Q: What about used equipment?
  A: Depending on the size of the system, its location and condition, a new custom system will cost the same or slightly more. That's because used equipment usually has to be dismantled, loaded and shipped from a remote location. Often modifications are required along with reconditioning. There are a few good fits when the used equipment is in good condition and close. On large systems (30,000 CFM and larger) there can be substantial savings in time and capital. We can help you evaluate used equipment. If we find a good fit, we will offer a turnkey package to relocate it and return it to operational condition at your facility.
